Dimensions of Triangulated Categories via Koszul Objects

چکیده
Lower bounds for the dimension of a triangulated category are provided. These bounds are applied to stable derived categories of Artin algebras and of commutative complete intersection local rings. As a consequence, one obtains bounds for the representation dimensions of certain Artin algebras.

AN INTRODUCTION TO HIGHER CLUSTER CATEGORIES
In this survey, we give an overview over some aspects of the set of tilting objects in an $m-$cluster category, with focus on those properties which are valid for all $m geq 1$. We focus on the following three combinatorial aspects: modeling the set of tilting objects using arcs in certain polygons, the generalized assicahedra of Fomin and Reading, and colored quiver mutation.
متن کاملKoszul Differential Graded
The concept of Koszul differential graded algebra (Koszul DG algebra) is introduced. Koszul DG algebras exist extensively, and have nice properties similar to the classic Koszul algebras. A DG version of the Koszul duality is proved. When the Koszul DG algebra A is AS-regular, the Ext-algebra E of A is Frobenius. In this case, similar to the classical BGG correspondence, there is an equivalence...
متن کاملComplexity and the Dimension of a Triangulated Category
We compute a lower bound for the dimension of a triangulated category, given that a certain finite generation hypothesis holds for cohomology. The bound is given in terms of the complexity of pairs of objects. We then apply the theory to the stable derived categories of complete intersections and of certain Artin algebras, and obtain lower bounds for the representation dimensions of the latter.
